This podcast serves as an avenue to connect with our fellow people and partake in dialogue that truly matters; the tough conversations that people might be scared to have. We must be honest with each other and encourage one another to dig deeper. Hosted by Caroline Neil and Dr. Williams, two people who met in an elevator and within two floors uncovered the power of meaningful conversations, we bring you Heart Take. This podcast encourages people to take a look at their heart and allow it to speak volumes in the name of truth and love. 🌹

  • Savant Lamont, Ph.D.

    To some, he is Dr. Williams the Professor, and to others, he is Savant Lamont. On air as a co-host of the Heart Take Podcast, Savant embodies his name and seeks to interrogate life’s most challenging conundrums. The St. Louis, Missouri native completed his Ph.D. at Florida State University, while also completing his M.S. (Sport Management) and B.S. (Exercise Science) at Western Illinois University. Along with being a Professor at San Jose State University, Savant is: the sole owner of Savant Siempre LLC, a DEI & College Athletics Consultant, and the best uncle on the entire planet. Celiyna’s (his neice) words, not his own.

  • Caroline Neil, MBA

    CO-HOST

    Caroline Neil is a creator and a connector. A co-host of the Heart Take podcast, Caroline enjoys asking questions and creating moments for others through conversation, writing, and experiences. A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Caroline graduated from Florida State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Marketing. She also earned her Masters of Business Administration from her alma mater in May of 2019. As a student-athlete, she competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials, finaled in every event she competed in at ACCs and still reigns in the all time FSU Top-10 list. She also serves on the Recent Alumni Board for the FSU College of Business.

  • David Neil

    PRODUCER

    David is a financial consultant who graduated early at the top of his class at North Carolina State University. He is known for his quick wit, athleticism, and diligence in all he does. He loves spending time outdoors with loved ones, and he is always open to learning something new, as shown throughout his work as a producer for the Heart Take Podcast.
